Today is a very special day for two big reasons.
First... we have a new customer reward program starting for the month of August. This month's reward program has a very specific agenda... to clean house for our upcoming Steel City Big Pour event on Septembeer 13th.
To that end, we're offering a 10% discount on all purchases over $20, all month long. This "cleaning house" discount is on top of all other available item discounts. In addition, throughout the month of August, we'll be pulling items from our our Back Forty storage area and pricing them to sell... fast. Septembeer 13th will be here before we know it! Let the selling frenzy begin.
Also, not to beat the discount dead horse, but just so you know... every item marked "July", as of today August 1st, is 10% off. During August, the discounts can really add up.
Why else is today so special? Because tickets for our 2nd Annual Steel City Big Pour are now on sale!! Last year we sold 750 tickets for each of the two sessions. This year the event will be even bigger with 1,000 tickets available for each session... but don't dally. We repeat... don't dally. This event will sell out and tickets will go fast.
Purchase tickets through ProArts Tickets at www.proartstickets.org or by calling 412-394-3353.

If you're interested, bring your resume to Construction Junction, ask for and fill out our job application form and leave both of those items with a cashier at the register.

CJ Q&A
Is Construction Junction a drop-off site for yard debris (e.g. the remains of a shrub I chopped up)? -- Jerry
No... but our neighbor, AgRecycle, right around the corner is. Their address is 335 North Braddock Ave and their phone number is 412-242-7645. They have regular business hours and charge a small fee to drop off yard debris. They do a great job recycling landscaping debris into beautiful organic compost and mulches.
Also, the City of Pittsburgh accepts yard debris at their Public Works drop-off centers. More information can be found on the City's recycling website. Proof of residency is required. -- Cozmo
