New Sold Item Policy

Last month, July 2008, Construction Junction broke a record.  We had more purchases in that month than in any month prior...  2558 to be exact.  This certainly is very good news and we appreciate your continued and loyal support.  As we grow we work to improve our operations and as such, starting Monday August 4, 2008, we're adopting a new sold item policy.

CJ Q&A

I am looking for a place where I can recycle carpet.  I have old carpet to get rid of in my house and I do not want it to end up in a landfill when it can be remanufactured.  Is there any place in Pittsburgh that does this type of recycling?  I would appreciate any help you can give me and the environment.  Thanks -- Christine

Christine -- Mike Gable, our green guru in residence (aka executive director), knew the answer to this question.  Steinberger Floors in Heidelberg reclaims carpeting ensuring 100% is diverted from landfills.  You can drop your carpet off or have them come pick it up, even remove it.  Please contact Amie Piz at apiz@steinbergerfloors.com or 412-276-2076 for a quote and more info.  Steinberger Floors evens provides a Certificate of Reclamation which, from a commercial perspective, is helpful with LEED certification.  Thanks for writing -- Cozmo
