- Seniors save an extra 10% off all items the last Thursday of every month
- Save on specially marked "cleaning house" and "fire sale" items that we need to move on out for our upcoming Steel City Big Pour event
The CJ Buzz
Tickets for our 2nd Annual Steel City Big Pour are on sale and going fast!! Last year we sold 750 tickets for each of the two sessions. This year the event will be even bigger with 1,000 tickets available for each session. Don't dally. We repeat... don't dally. As we said, tickets are going fast and this event will sell out.
Purchase tickets through ProArts Tickets or by calling 412-394-3353. FYI... Here's a recent article about this year's upcoming event...

New Sold Item Policy
Last month, July 2008, Construction Junction broke a record. We had more purchases in that month than in any month prior... 2558 to be exact. This certainly is very good news and we appreciate your continued and loyal support. As we grow we work to improve our operations and as such, starting Monday August 4, 2008, we're adopting a new sold item policy.

CJ Q&A
What is the best/most responsible way to dispose of drywall? We are updating and insulating our attic and the drywall is not re-usable. I found a recycling program for drywall 4 hours away (http://www.usagypsum.com/drywall-recycling.aspx), anything local? -- Elizabeth
Elizabeth -- Unfortunately, we don't know of any local palces to recycle drywall and our online research uncovered nothing as well. So we'd like to throw this out to the CJ community at large. Anyone out there know anything about local drywall recycling options? -- Cozmo
Cozmo’s Message of the Week
Thanks for your wishes for CJ, which included... keeping our recycling & resources web page more up to date, opening up another branch in the South Hills, offering more used furniture as well as furniture refinishing classes, staying open late at least one night a week, regularly sharing artistic and clever reuse stories, and allowing online purchasing of items pictured in this weekly e-Blast.
